avast! celebrates 80 million registered users

ALWIL Software is pleased to announce that the award-winning avast! antivirus has now passed 80 million registered users.

Since the first registration in January 2002, avast! antivirus has grown to be a truly global product. While it took six years to achieve the 50 millionth user, it has taken only just over a year for this number to further increase to 80 million.
