Poll forum
« on: October 13, 2003, 05:20:18 AM »
Could the users start a Poll forum (for voting)?
See an example at http://www.wilderssecurity.com/index.php?board=27;action=display;threadid=13613;start=0

I don´t want this thread die...
Maybe it's a wrong place to post it. I think, now, it was better in 'General topics'. Maybe the webmasters could 'move' it.

Pavel or Kubecj, do you have anything to tell about this.
I think it is a good feature and other foruns powered by YaBB have it... For wishlist is a must have in my opinion...

Lots of foruns could be 'shorter' just with this kind of possibility: the user 'votes' for a feature or other thread.

Can I have an answer?  ;)

The poll forums were restricted to moderators only since the last forum update. Ok, I've changed this - any registered user can open the poll since now. But please use it with care - I only hope it will not cause such problems like karmas here ;)

Thanks. I´ll submit to you - before post - my ideas... If you agree, you can say if I can post or not them. Of course, I'm not thinking on joke posts (like k@rmas)...  ;)

Shouldn't this thread be in the General Topics forums ;D

I take this as a sign that Avast is currently running pretty good because we are starting to see less technical stuff problem wise being posted.

What do you think?

I don´t think so. Let technical stuff with technicals and other in General Category. You can read and participate the foruns you feel better. My avast! is running pretty good now but other users have technical troubles. Any software has at least one bug and we go through them  ;D

You may be correct but you're unintentionally contradicting yourself.  Doesn't matter.  I know what you mean.

BTW, I apologize if I seem course at times.  My ego is writing checks it can't cash.  I'll be the first to admit that. ;D
