hotmail account checked (work around)

doens any one know how it is possible to scan with avast a hotmail account.

the solution accourding to the aVast helpfile is
ann.jones#pop3.tiscali.com

So the 'right' setting hasto be:
user.name@hotmail.com#http://services.msn.com/svcs/hotmail/httpmail.asp

When you do this you get an error.
Is there a work around.

avast! can scan e-mail messages recieving and sending via POP/SMTP/IMAP protocols. Hotmail uses HTTP protocol that can´t be scanned by avast!.
