The VPN is not connecting at all. If the VPN is set up correctly, the most common issues are:

Your personal firewall or security software is blocking the VPN.

Try different VPN Types from the 'Advanced Connect' menu in your VPN client. They may find a way through.

When using OpenVPN in avast! SecureLine, it displays "Creating Adapter" message for a few minutes, then gives up. What's wrong?
  • Right-click 'My Computer' and click 'Manage',

  • Then click Services and Applications',

  • Then click Services'

  • In the Services list scroll down and find the "SecureLine" or "Witopia" service.

  • Right-click on this service and select 'Start'.

The VPN should begin to work with OpenVPN after that
