How do I remove Snap.do toolbar?

Snap.do is a browser extension that comes bundled with third-party software and is installed without your permission. Once installed, the program changes your home page and search settings, collects information about your browsing habits, redirects you to unknown sites, and shows annoying pop-up ads and sponsored ads. In addition to being a PUP (potentially unwanted program) that will slow down your browser, clicking on an ad may lead you to a harmful site. All good reasons to remove it.

In some cases, a ‟bad” add-on can’t be removed directly via the browser menu, because removal is blocked by an add-on protector. Avast Browser Cleanup will let you know if this is the case and help you through the process.
