A digital world for everyone, built by everyone

At Avast we fight for a safe, open, and fair digital world for everyone. The best way to bring about digital freedom for all is by reflecting the world around us. A diverse and inclusive team is essential to create and follow a vision for a better connected life for each and every one of us.

Committed to change, committed to people

As one of the largest cybersecurity companies in the world, we believe we have a duty to lead from the front when it comes to building a more diverse and inclusive technology sector. We never stand still in our efforts to build an organization that embraces the people, cultures, and nations that make up our world. The world is waiting for change, and we are committed to driving it.

Today at Avast

Supporting tech talent wherever it comes from

At Avast we look to support talent that traditionally has not always had the help needed to forge a career in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). We partner with organizations and professional networks around the world so that curious minds from all backgrounds, whatever their gender or culture, have a better chance to follow their passion. Internally, we continually strive to improve our interview and development processes to ensure that everyone has a fair and equal chance to live their dream career.

An authentic culture, shaped by all

Respect is the foundation of great collaboration and we look to foster an open environment where all voices are valued and each employee feels comfortable bringing their whole self to work.

Our stories

Our Initiatives and Projects

Parents@Avast
We support our employees in all stages of their lives and careers, including parents going on or returning from parental leave. We offer childcare, entertainment, and educational services (such as coding courses for kids).
Autism at IT
Avast takes part in a unique programme supporting individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) who are seeking employment in the IT sector. We have trained volunteers from the Avast team to mentor individuals with ASD to help them improve their IT skills, raise their confidence level, and provide structured social interaction.
Women in tech
Working with organisations such as Czechitas, AjtyvIT, and Code First Girls, Avast assists in training young girls and women who are inspired to pursue a career in IT by mentoring them in a range of areas such as programming, testing, data analysis, and cybersecurity.
Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)
ERGs are employee-led, voluntary groups that help us build a genuinely diverse and inclusive workplace. The work of ERGs such as Women at Avast, The Rainbow Alliance (LGBTQ+), and Asians at Avast, enable us to attract, support, develop, and retain talent from all backgrounds — creating a thriving multicultural organization.
