Reseller program

Would you like to resell the line of “avast!” products in your city, state or even country?

Do you:

Have your own business?
Have any experience with antivirus products?
Want to sell and support avast!?
Have a valid VAT number (in the EU)?

If you can answer yes to these questions, you are probably an ideal candidate to meet our reseller requirements.

If you answer no to any of these questions, you might like to better consider our affiliate program.

Reseller Program Requirements:

You should have essential knowledge of antivirus technologies, viruses, worms, Trojans etc. (what a virus is, how it spreads, what the symptoms are, what it can do and what it cannot, how you can cure etc.)
You should have essential knowledge of our line of avast! antivirus products – or at least the products you would like to resell
You should have your own domain name and website
You should have a valid VAT registration (EU-based businesses only)
You should be able to support your customers

Duties of Reseller:

Provide technical support to their customers
Present available avast! products on their web site (with at least one link to www.avast.com)
Sell avast! antivirus products

Reseller’s Benefits :

You will receive payments from your customers
Your margin will be market leading - full details, once you sign up
We will send you a monthly invoice in USD or Euro, payable in 15 days by wire transfer. Sorry, payment by credit card is not accepted

Duties of ALWIL Software:

To produce up to date antivirus software and virus definitions, across multiple platforms
To produce updates of virus database ASAP after the new ItW infection will arise
To allow all users to update from our Network of Internet servers.
Responsibility for uploading of new versions (We maintain ALL download servers and update servers, resellers will not be permitted to host a copy of our software.)
List each partner on our Distributor/Reseller web page.

Please note:

We do not produce "boxed products"
All products are distributed electronically only - license key or license file.
We produce a CDROM from time to time, but it's used for "marketing" purposes only.
License keys become active at the point of purchase not the point of first use.
