What is Passwords?
Avast Business Passwords lets you safely and automatically store and sync all usernames and passwords in one place locked behind one master password, which can be used to autofill any field or online form. You can now securely sync passwords and credit card information, even store secure notes, across all your devices and browsers — taking the pain and risk out of creating, remembering, and entering passwords.
Why is Passwords a safe, secure way to manage passwords?
When you store passwords in your browser, they are stored on your device along with the information necessary to decrypt them and that makes them easy to compromise. Passwords stores your passwords with a more secure level of encryption, and your master password helps to further protect your data.
How does Passwords work?
Simply open the tool in our Antivirus Pro Plus product and create your master password. The next time you sign in, Passwords will autofill your user login information or credit card number.
What if I forget my master password?
You can easily reset Passwords and create a new master password. Choose settings/passwords, cancel the master password dialog box and you will see a link for ‘Forgot your master password?’ Click this and create a new master password.

How do I synchronize my data in Passwords across my devices?
Once you set up Passwords on one device, simply log into your Avast Business account where you can set up syncing for your first device and then choose to set up and authorize other devices. Each device must be authorized before it can be synchronized. Avast Passwords must be installed on each of the devices to synchronize.
From your Passwords screen, choose Settings and Sync and click Turn On. Then login to your Avast Business account. Next, verify your device details under My Synced Devices. To set up additional devices, follow these same steps. You will need to authorize your next device by going back to your previously authorized device, choosing Settings, then Sync, and then clicking Allow. For mobile devices, open the Avast Passwords app and follow these same steps.
