Maie is a contributing editor for Avast. She began writing about technology more than 20 years ago, back when Nokia 3510s were still the rage. Her career has seen her leading content for global SaaS companies, tech start-ups, and blockchain platforms. She has a particular interest in AI-enhanced social engineering threats and consumer protection. When not at her desk, you'll find Maie at the boxing gym, the pottery studio, or spending quality time with her dog.
Maie has an MA in Public Relations. She also holds a certification in Leading from the Emerging Future from MIT, and Crisis Management and Communication from Coursera.
