Jan Rubin is a Threat Research Lead at Gen (the company behind Avast). His topical expertise spans threat hunting and analyzing infostealers and cryptocurrency-related threats. Jan leads a dedicated team of researchers who combat data theft. Outside of his main work as a threat researcher, he also authors technical articles on the Gen Blog, mentors upcoming cybersecurity talent, and lectures at Czech Technical University in Prague.
