Founded in 2008 and headquartered in Paris, LDB Networks & Systems provides IT and security solutions to small and medium enterprises (SME) throughout France. As a Value Added Reseller (VAR), the company has continued to grow its business across vertical markets that include retail, education, finance, beauty and health services, and other sectors.
According to Director Jonathan Colmano, the secret to the company’s consistent growth has been its focus on small business needs and customer relationships. “Our success is due to our dedication to our SME clients and our ability to tailor programs for every type of business. We are first and foremost here to partner with our customers and advise them on the best services for their needs. We do this by establishing trust and providing innovative products and dedicated support.”
Responding to the security challenges of small businesses is the company’s top priority. “Every day, I see firsthand the security and data backup challenges that small businesses face,” Jonathan explains. “SMEs often lack the budget and expertise to put strong security in place. Our focus is on advising small businesses on the best security for their needs and ensuring they have the technology and tools to protect against ransomware and other voracious cyberthreats.”
An AVG-Avast partner since 2011, LDB Networks & Systems chose Avast Business because the products were more reliable, full-featured, and intuitive compared to the competition. In 2017, Jonathan and his team started selling Avast Business CloudCare and the integrated Antivirus Pro Plus.
“The CloudCare platform aligns perfectly with our business model and has enabled us to expand our network security solutions portfolio. Through CloudCare’s licensing model, we can competitively price service bundles and bill clients monthly,’’ says Jonathan. “Our clients can easily integrate CloudCare services with their IT solutions and provide value for their end customers.”
According to Jonathan, CloudCare’s centralized management offers unprecedented administrative flexibility. “From one platform, our clients can set up remote filtering rules, make content filtering adjustments for specific applications, analyze incoming and outgoing email, and provide reports and updates. They can also control and manage their customers’ IT environments, or in just a few clicks, give their customers direct access to manage their own endpoints and networks.”
The company has also started exploring the advantages of Avast Business Secure Web Gateway, the new cloud-based network security solution available through CloudCare.
CloudCare’s centralized management, intuitive design, and range of security services have delivered several advantages for LDB Networks & Systems.
“We are able to sell, deploy, and manage cloud-based security services more effectively,” he explains. “This not only helps us meet our client’s security needs, but provides an efficient way to build our customer base and create monthly recurring revenue.”
Using CloudCare, Jonathan estimates that he has grown the business by 35% in the past two years. Efficiency has also improved by 45%. “We have simplified every aspect of selling and managing online security services, from the ordering process to adoption, onboarding, and support,” he says.
Jonathan also credits the Avast Business relationship for the company’s success with CloudCare. “We have a strong partnership with Avast Business. The team understands our business and is very responsive. This saves us precious time closing deals and processing new service requests so we can focus on client satisfaction for our business.”
