Jeremy Coppock is a staff cybersecurity writer and editor for Avast with a strong interest in online privacy and anti-scam education. He has hands-on experience as a fraud investigator for a major online retailer, and he’s also worked in higher-education research and cybersecurity audit translation.
Jeremy holds a BA from the University of Washington in Seattle, and a dual MA from the University of Glasgow and Jagiellonian University. You’ll often find him hiking in the mountains, swimming laps, or foraging in the woods with his two basset hounds, Chowder and Snuffles.
